CVBoost needed to solve this by putting AI at the center of the CV creation process.

AI engine and content pipeline
BrilliMinds designed the AI layer to work at two levels: keyword optimization — analyzing target job descriptions and suggesting relevant terms, skills, and phrases to include — and content feedback — evaluating the quality, clarity, and impact of what the user has written and offering real-time improvement suggestions. The AI pipeline was built on FastAPI for speed, with Python handling the core logic and integration with AI models for natural language analysis and generation. The system needed to be responsive enough to deliver suggestions as the user types, not after they finish.

Frontend and template system
The React frontend was built around a guided, step-by-step CV building flow — users enter their information, select a target role or paste a job description, and the system guides them through each section with AI-powered suggestions along the way. The template engine supports multiple ATS-compatible layouts tailored to different industries — each designed to pass automated screening while maintaining a professional, polished appearance. Templates are fully customizable — users can adjust styling, sections, and layout to suit their preferences without breaking ATS compatibility.

Product packaging and deployment
CVBoost was built as a standalone product, not a client project. The platform was deployed on AWS with the FastAPI backend handling AI processing and CV generation, React serving the user experience, and PostgreSQL storing user profiles, CV versions, and template configurations. The architecture supports concurrent users building and editing CVs simultaneously, with the AI engine processing requests in near real-time. The system was tested across major ATS platforms to validate that generated CVs pass screening consistently.

Job seekers are the primary users — ranging from fresh graduates building their first CV to experienced professionals tailoring applications for specific roles. The guided workflow and AI suggestions help users at every experience level produce strong, targeted CVs without needing to understand ATS rules or keyword optimization themselves.
